Translating
the Fashion. Search of inspiration is a never ending path. The designers create
a new designs every season ,whit which they want to present their ideas to the
auditorium and their customers. In this research, they can step out of their
subjective view, which is really good, with understanding the people, and what
they want to wear,expecially,in prêt-à-porter. From here, the creations, are put
on a test, and if the feedback is good, it become a full appreciation of the
human being Is not all about, what the designer fell.You can have a Haute
Couture ,or other kind of experimental collection,but,in ready-to wear, is
expected from the designer, to present good wearable collection, which is the purpose,
even in the name itself. From here I don`t have any problem ,with collections,
which are trendy or too commercial, because this fashion weeks ,are for that,
and I really don`t understand the designers, which can`t get that, even I like
it to watch, but still, have to be made out of prêt-à-porter.
The think about,
why I like Istanbul and Turkish designers, as they really think on their customers.It
was more that obvious today, at the shows, that the purpose of good, beautiful
and trendy clothes, is done to perfection. From the show of Belma Ozdemir,presenting
cool,young,modern pieces in black, from miniskirts, fur tops, leather night dresses,
or even the bit extreme as the sheer turtleneck, it was all very well-tailored,
cut and it was for everyday wear. Önder Özkan show some amazing
pastel-pink blouse, in graphic print with titles and stripe
skirts,coats,pants.All was so romantic in one very casual way, which easy can
become elegant. RED BEARD experiment with cuts and mx of the
color blocks, some very inventive design and beautiful ornaments, all was an
ode to the modern and music here made up as main theme.
Mehtap Elaidi turns to
the 70s, but with very modern concept. So strong, on times very luxurious and
jolly time in other pieces. There were a lot of stripes, bright colors and purple,
black very fine pieces, and a lot of vintage parts.
So, when
the point in creating for the people in general, or even for those how can buy
your clothes,you creating clothes ,just like this, and I know Turkish people
like it, very much.
