Hessian Boots meets the Hippies in 21st century at Lanvin Automne-Hiver 2015-16 Day 3 Paris Fashion Week 05.03.2015

Alber Elbaz magic at Lanvin,is one of the most amazing things at Paris Fashion Week. With every new collection, his talent is expanding, and we are  witnesses of something beautiful, charming, great Pret-a-Porte, going to the most high level of fresh designs, use of fabrics, textile and inventive cuts. With the new Fall collection Lanvin, goes on the field of never ending  sophisticated and boho luxury, mixed with military uniforms style. That can be seen in the victorian military officer pants, vest ,transformed coatee,French Napoleon officer style  matching boots, and the proper belts-ropes. Fringe used in a way, which was the most beautiful , presented till now on the shows. It’s a search for adventure, with a bit of Orient vibes, an re-interpretation of the Sam Browne belt in snake skin, on a dress, blouse tres bohemian in black, leather fur coat(so look like Prada`s red-yellow from Fall14), Diana goddess dress and gold ankle boots. But on the other side of military inspiration ,there were some ethno moments, some modern things, like a black mini dress with gold embroidery, sweatshirts, skirts with belts, stripe suit, cape, boho hats,70s and 60s hippy mood, a lot of gold, fur, long black eveningdresses,or one with strange holes a bit fringe, emelished red flowers on a black floral dress, fringe ball gloves, sheer embroidered floral top, and more fringe flowers on satin and black sheer, night dresses.
It was such a beautiful, full collection.Alber is a genious, and it done such much for lanvin, and for the whole history of fashion. His pieces are timeless. BRAVO!
