Tokyo Fashion Week Day 5 Fall-Winter 2015-16 20.03.2015

In a favor of minimalistic perfection and luxurious life. There is a contradiction, between the aesthetic of the minimalism and the maximalist decorations of the clothes, in the search of beauty.Still, one can look pretty good and enough sophisticated in both ways. As the minimalism is turn to the shape, cut and clean color, which give an dimension of modernity and calm, conceptual turn of the clothes, ditto the extreme of mixing patterns, colors, embroidery, jewels, give the feeling of gracefulness and eclectic charm. When this two World will come in one collection, there is big chance to be a totally disaster, if the designer, doesn’t have the skill to participate and give enough strength to the both of the styles.
Today on Tokyo Fashion Week, I saw a perfect match, of impressive combination of the two aesthetics, in a single show or separated, for both, Male and Female design. Starting with the black collection of Noir Fr, which was a perfect example, how a conceptual minimalism, has to be done. From the perfectly structured coats, tunic de blouse(turtleneck),to the slim pants, miniskirts with an Japanese painting, very strong and tie look, who can be put easy on the side of alternative rock look, but still for me is more of a search for the ways of presenting the black in everyday situations, finding the modern touch. The metallic shine of silver paths was just an artistic expression, decoration if you like, which give to the clothes, the balance of the black, and a practice of maintaining the surroundings in Tokyo. Support surface made the combination of the two aesthetics, in one very cultured and modern way. The laced sleeves were a perfect contrast to the simple white, tailored in ultra-modern shape, seen in the skirts and under knee pants. There was a bright pink shirt, orange, and check in purple or elegant gray and black. The Japanese tradition was so visible, and that give an extra vibe, to the whole concept. HANAE MORI designed by Yu Amatsu ,put combinations like embroidered coat over shades of grey ultra-modern top and pants, or huge balloon sleeves coat with knit, printed pants suit, hign boots, and full pockets on a blouse Japanese. One of the best moments was the orange coat, such a good tailoring, over a yellow shirt and grey flawless trousers. It`s an mix of the aesthetics, which really come as one. YUKI TORII INTERNATIONAL one of the best commercial brands from Japan, which design are always full with life, modern taking on the fashion and excellent craft. Beautiful colors, a lot of white, all very vintage looking, but still present, in the interesting cuts, lace and choose of fabrics. It was a perfect touch of minimalism in white and the richest in eclecticism of the rest of the clothes.
Japanese designers done it again, perfectly!
