ALEXANDRA
MOURA is a real concept maker. Her mesh pieces for Spring 15 collection are “To
invert” like she put it, a really strong collection, with a nice touch of the humanity,
nature and on a research of it.Her man and woman are always a pair, dressed in
same fabrics, there is not a big difference in the genre choose of it, but
still the shape is separate, only sometimes is going over the borders, of the norm.
She is a rebel, mind and soul in one, something that is really rare. Always
using soft material, like technologic nappa, Cotton, linen, in pastel tones or white,
sometime a bit dark, kind of rebellious.
Her new
collection is again a concept, a “PRIMAL (U) NATION”; she is back to the
aesthetic of the primitive civilizations, and their cults and tribal living.
She is inspired by various tribes, from which she create new eccentric forms.
From Siberia to the Desert, in one beautiful mix of cultures. The shiluete is
shaped by overlapping layers excesses and volume, which create a visual impact
that reveals comfort and protection. One sensory explosion, which makes you to
look and touch the texture and detail, like the colors and application
embellishing the “primitive”days,or the sheets and stripes, as the beautiful
cut circular shapes ,which take to the tribal art of body paintings.
Here are
few of the photos, from this tribal experience:
