Prada is
the most modern clothes making brand, in Milan for sure. New tehniques,fresh
cutting on the fabrics and textile,prints,great leather, shoes and the Prada
new bags. It was an ode to the expensive looks, an old segments put in modern terms,
patterns and shapes, transformed is todays mood. It was interesting seeing the tailored
trousers suits,being push to the future, and the pink bags or the futuristic boots. A
lot of tweed,pleids,wool,cocktail dresses worn over a top with a satin colar,or
gloves who are going up to under the shoulder in leather.The palete was so light,pastel tones,it will be spring in winter,or not. I taste a note of
Dior and the bespoke male tailoring, a lot of 70s classy, and I`m not sure
about the fur parts on the coats, which were going under the pockets till the
upper bottons.The hair and makeup was very Lady like, simple but with a point
on the elegance. The digital printed leather interesting, but not that spectacular,
as the pieces of fabric made flowers or other forms, which were like
embroidered on the tops, dresses.Nice statement of Prada, to go on the elegant
path and to get it to the future. It was with a success, but I think there has
to be more new ideas, as we are custom to see at Prada.
