The first woman collection after Frida left Gucci,was one of the things,that everyone was wating to see,in Milan.After the male collection in January,that was quite inovative,the Woman collection taken,by the hand of the new creative director Alessandro Michele,its meant to done the same and even bigger expetations,were up in the air.The floral invitation,give me an thought,that Gucci will blossom in the Fall and I was right.Floral dreeses,skirts,suits,very romantic,elegant and sophisticated,like a realistic floral canvas vo 19th century.The Fur slippers,My God!I haven`t seen such a worst thing in my life(even a lot of has done similar),than sheer tops,a lot of 70s,plisse skirts,fur and scarfs with bouquet of flowers,smart-geek look with the eyewear and trench in classy way.The plisse was almost summer ,made up in floral dresses.The berets and bow ribbons (very French),military coats,a lot of masculine cuts,but also romantism,as the beautiful glitter bird(embroidery) on a black cocktail dress.A bit of tailoring,corals,turtleneck sweathers,golden(shine) coat very graphic,lace in soft naked tones,in one outfit worn under a blue sweather with a bird,puppy and floral embrodary.An nice leather parts,eartly colors,very sexy vibes,white,red,purple.Intelectual-bohemian woman,who in my eyes,is not that ready for 21st century.
It was plisse and florals,so vintage,so 70s,50s,not well choosen shoes(but I know,they going to be a mega hit),it was success.All together,it was Gucci in the luxury furs,bags,some of the fabrics,but there was a lot of new shapes,modern moments,fresh ideas,that are not very Gucci.Like end,I can say,good start,and I wish a lot of LUCK to Alessandro!
