Review:Jil Sander Milan Fashion Week Spring-Summer 2015 Day 4 20.09.2014 (photos via Now Fashion)

Rodolfo Paglialunga as a new creative director at Jil Sander, show his first collection for the house. The casual sofistication of Sander,it was seen in every piece. It was given a modern touch, perfect fabrics and great cuts.Minimalisam was always the basic on the brand and here it was taken in a new concept of colors and shapes.
The new breath it was seen from the first piece,a blue blouse and knee pants in indigo, worn with a soft leather socks. The leather socks were throught the whole collection, something that Prada done two days ago.Clean lines and a graphic print(straight white or blue lines) were challenging or disturbing the blank fabric. It was real pleasure watching this game of parallels. The skirts were A-line or asymmetrically cut at the front.White and red shirts, tops and polo t-shirts,give an urban touch, something which will sell good.Of course armless sweaters worn over a classical shirt, for a the busy working woman. Then leather skirt in brown and beautiful futuristic shirt.A ballon sleeves top was worn with pants which were tied with simple black belt.To the very end we saw perfect printed skirts in black, casual tops, beautiful summer dress and more knee pants.
If the idea was to put Sander on the comercial market,it was done with style.Even for a first collection Rodolfo, seems to give a new life to the brand.Smart choose of the fabrics and playing with the casual spirit,he done a great job.So now is to as to wait,to see his second show.Bravo!
