What was there on #LFW Autumn-Winter 2014/15

London like always was all about the new ideas. From the Saint Martin’s Collection to Tom Ford everything was fresh and new. The main color for the next winter will be black, for sure. Total black outfits were almost in every collection, from tops to evening wear. Other thing that catches the eye is for sure the use of color too.Peter Polotto coats was the mayor thing and there was Meadham Kirchhoff with tones of few colors on a dress. Roksanda Ilincic plays with different colors in a more explicit way and for sure the House of Holand done great job with the entire bright ones.
The fur this session was quite in small shows, almost at all, but the knit has his comeback for sure. JS Lee in beautiful has nice blue sweater and Christopher Kane made great grey Victorian one. Bellstaf done it in black and white, while Christopher Raeburn put a polar bear on it (he is a part of a campaign who works for protection the polar bear).
Burberry Prorsum was one of the best shows at the fashion week. One is sure, the man and  the woman for next winter will be dress in Native American themed style, big scarf’s and blankets one, with shoes made up the same track. There was layers of silk and cashmere too and the bags (same themed)whose going to be the best sellers for the season.
There was the joy of watching MaryKatrantzou`s show. Beautiful fabric and a lot of embroidery on it. Colors were everything in her collection. Themed Greece to the Modern age, the designer famous for her prints, makes less for the next winter season. It was great cuts on the dresses that were like, there is no winter.
Another designer who brings a lot of attention in the past few seasons is J. W. Anderson. With this collection he continues to explore with the shapes and the cuts. The color is reducing to gentle pastel tones and a little black. There were belts in some Japanese re-interpretation way on long black dresses and few great tops . The energy that he is showing with the collection is for modern woman, who is not afraid of wearing extreme shoes, just like for his collection.

So there. One more #LFW is over. Next stop Milan.
