Dare to say something bad for Chalayan Show Review A-H 2014/15 #PFW

Chalayan always take the “job” in his own hands, never leave anything weird to happened around him. With this fall collection, again the fabrics and the clean-minimalistic vs. prints played the main theme.
Show opened with black asymmetric dress wear with ankle gram boots. It was sure that this will be another great collection, full with surprises. Next on leather green jackets and blue skirts, cut-open infront. Then black take his word in dress with short sleeves and 80`s inspirited coats with one baton wear with skirt.
Grey fur made to look like real tiger, were combination with grey pants and maxi skirt. The fresh air in the collection was bringing by the white fur and interesting graphic print skirts with a matching tops in silk.
Then we saw a red dress with application of graphic air. It was fluid in the air and fire in the sky. Perfect colors can be seen on in the sweathers, wich covered a silk dress. Purple was another great color, put on asymmetric tops or in dress and even like a piece that falling from the dress, on the side. Purple is strong color and was used in a right way here, giving a powerful look to the clothes.
For night, long dresses in grey with application of red and black or in pastel tones. It was more than a movement in those dresses; it was a whole note of light in the dark.

It was one of the best collections of Chalayan that we have seen so far. His work is stronger and the point is given to the clothes and the fabric, where color is just a pigment of the whole. In the end, maybe is not top selling designer, but for sure is one of the best out there.
