Milan Man
Fashion Week started yesterday with the show of Dirk.B,but today it`s in the
full schedule. Milan is a trend setter capital of fashion, both male and female.
For next Spring-Summer 2016,the designer are more conventional,classy,with a
pitch of casual and comfort pieces, all wearable from morning to night. Like a
epicenter of fashion, the crowd also cherish the collections. It`s a rule in Milan,
that only the most fashionable people, can seat at the shows.So,as the
commercial aspect run wild, the quality still is in it`s high.Startitg from the
Ermenegildo Zegna show, where Pilatti present an wonderful bespoke pieces
,ready-to-wear collection, in tons of black,grey,white,with beautiful tartan
and check spring coats, very fresh ideas, volumes and shapes, which made the
modern Man more comfortable with himself, not only to express his musles,but
also his intellectual site, which together with the wealth and causality in the
day pieces, very young vibes, full with energy and almost Zen touch, brings
Zengna to the one of the most beautiful brands out there.
Dolce and
Gabbana in their own way, present another beautiful collection, based on
Ancient China, with all the beautiful silk, the Ming voages,the trade in the
middle ages with the West, all the culture,religion,textile.It seems even in Milan,
the East influence is welcome on big door, plus we can`t forget, that China now is the biggest economy
power in the World and the Met Show “China through looking glass”, as the
D&G stores opening there and the visits they pay.So,it`s almost natural, to
be presented an China inspired collection. Beautiful printed silk shirts, with
various themes from China`s heritage. The West meets China, in the cuts or like
the print of The Holly Mother on a top, combined with Printed Chine`s
characters on the knee pants. Perfect ripped cool jeans, a lot of birds,
florals, geometry prints and embroidery, all in Chine`s style.Blasers, swimwear
and shirts. Very easy going, full spring-summer collection, in sport-luxurious spirit.
The striped suits, were in China`s style, too.Colorful and jolly. A great
celebration of China, through the Italian design.

the fashion week, I can say with this gorgeous, almost perfect collection, in
which was sublime a huge amount of research and craft. Even is only
ready-to-wear at Marini’s seems that making a kind of Couture for Man, even if
is not hand maded.This fascination it came as a surprise to Me, even that I
adore the woman shows in the past years, their Man presentations, were never
that excited. But not this one. From the start, with the blue coat and the
classy pants, worn with leather sandals, with socks (which were seen through
the whole show), to the perfect tailored shirts, vests, neon orange sweather,
or knitted ones, printed floral shirt, all of this look so 50s and 60s, but it
look as much good for next Spring, too, in the term of re-designing, bringing
fresh materials, shapes and cuts. The leather was exquisite, just like the
oversized coats and the sporty-classy shorts. These clothes are for the Man who
knows what he wants from life.Intelectual, with strong views and a sense for fashion,
but not a fashion victim, only a gentlamen, who knows what good quality is. The
far future maybe is not in this collection, but for sure is for next year.
The fantasy
Versace show was all that what every fan of the brand, wants to see and wear
for next spring. The theory of Versace of being on the side of masculinity with
a touch of eclectic style, sometimes extravante,sometimes a bit famine, or completely
traditional classy(like the Fall 15 show),give an various searching, for one self,
which putting the Versace Men to the one who is always the most popular, sexy
and smart, all at once. Donatella present a day dream for everyone who needs and
relax and macho clothes, to exhibit themselves out there (which never has to be
taken as a cheap way, as a lot wants to say), trying to present their personal
feeling and to play with fashion and their own style. In an fairly desert camp setting,
somewhere in North Africa, the models start to parade in silk suits, with logo prints,
some Bedouin inspirations, the sandals as must have ,worn with socks
normaly.Then leather bomber jackets, pink and purple pants, tunics or Nomadic
Bedouin Shirts, all transformed in modern and fresh looks. The show was a real jam.If
you need to dream, than why not dream in Versace.
