Yamamoto always saying that in Woman fashion can experiment more that in the
Man one, still his passion and perfect tailoring, his enormous talent and like
a master of his craft, making me sceptic about this statement. I always seeing a
need of exploration, of liberation of the body,with a dose of fantasy and a
point of view, which is Japanese in its roots, but very worldwide,as it grow.
On the edge of totally sculptural forms, skirts or strange hats, a re-inventor
of the black color, Yamamoto never gives as a dull moment. His presentation are
one of the highlight’s on the fashion weeks, respected by a lot of designer,
and one of them is the genie Karl Lagerfeld, which opinion means a lot in the
fashion circles, and he is with Yamamoto from his beginings.The drama in the collection,
is not with an intention to shock, but to present a different view and even if
is opposite, is an artistic statement not something cheap. The quality of
Yamamoto`s work, his choose of fabrics and the cutting of the silhouette, are
the most precious things he made. On the runway the models walked with painted
faces with stripes in different colors, wearing perfectly tailored fluid suits
in black, with huge pockets on the sides of the trousers, small-platform boots,
simple black t-shirts, or artistic almost brush stroke artist-canvas, so abstract
and colorful.Yamamoto wants to present the sky, the beauty of the clouds,
through this, just like the drawings of a skeleton, with dog or playing a guitar,
which were put on shirts and coats, very nice indeed.Statement,messages,(like the "I`m for rent",written on a shirt,under a drawing,of Yamamoto himself,I guees) I feel
the energy, through all the collection. The spring of ideas
of Yamamoto,will never end.
