Alexandre Vauthier became a member of The Chambre Syndicale

Alexandre Vauthier is the latest designer who become a member of the France's prestigious Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture. Now he will be able to officially use the haute couture title for his collections, and will present his collection during Couture Fashion Week in January.
First he worked at Jean Paul Gaultier like a studio director until 2006, then he spent three years at Thierry Mugler before establishing his label in 2009.

Only fashion houses that have been approved by the French Ministry of Industry are allowed to use the title of haute couture.
