Antonio Marras is a story telling designer. With Every new collection he try to seduce the public, with his great designs and unpecable styling. This Spring collection is a story inspired by Malick Sidibé (I think of that, becouse the huge board which was standing on the runway),a Malian photographer famous for his black & and white photos of pop-culture in the 1960s in Bamako, his studio,or the hair salons, where the woman getting their hair done, plus entertaing them self. The show open with a dress made from mesh, embroidery, check fabric, and sheer with decorative flowers, realy beautiful done, with an remarcable taste. This patchwork theme, continued on the coats (all in blue, with littel black),tones of blue skirt, brusselex embroidary coat, romantic and sexy in one.Deconstraction and re-designing,an real puzzle of fabrics and textures.Brocade rosses on patchwork, jeans, coctail dresses with colorful prints, black lace and modern elegance.Bomber jacket and a floral pocket-skirt,pepita ribbons, more embroidery with flowers,on the dresses (made up from pepita pattern & lace),huge checked skirts and sport stylr in combination with the classy one (seen beautifuly on the check coat).More printed silk dresses, lace and interesting shapes and cuts, were seen as the show was closing up.
