"Let me eat you" at YOHJI YAMAMOTO Fall-Winter 2016/17

Yamamoto is ready for Winter. The never stoped magic of black, followed this collection too.The street-urban warriors of Yamamoto, will feel perfect in the new neck-scarfs,wich are huge(one of my favorite),in combination with fluit sport pants or belted high upon the ancle, all perfect tailored like always. The layers of jackets, sweaters and sweatshirts in tones of black ,give an interesting volume of the body. The knitting is simple in black, with a bit of asymetric cuting, seen in one sweater. But the drawing portraits(few remind of Rai Kawakubo),on the black, looked so new, with an passion for art modernity and love. The rebel spirit of the punks and the rest of the underground crowd, was seen through the masculine boots and samurai inspired skirts. The parachute belting seen on the suits, give an life, for the future, freedom and power. The japanese shoto kanji was a great moment on the brown leather coat,as well as the zombie drawing on the sweatshirt, with the writting, read "Let me eat you".
Strong, masculine and artistic collection from Yamamoto, wich eradicate the old and give a chance to the new.
